“The wing wars are heating up in Ann Arbor. This is a promising spot, just getting started. Good service, order was ready on time, chicken was cooked well. Definitely need to try some more of the flavors. The habanero definitely packs the heat. The poutine was excellent and the cornbread bites were good. I like how they showed me my order as they packed it. Will be back to try more on the menu.”

“Moved from the Washtenaw location to the Plymouth Road Shell in March and is a great little addition to the take-out options near the north campus. I wish there was middle-eastern fare in addition to the Mexican street food, but the stuff you get is tasty, prepared fresh and offered in big portions! I had the steak tacos with all the assortments and it was more than enough for one person. Also very well done. They have a restaurant in the Detroit metro area (Garden City) but since that's far for most A2ites, this is a great option.”

“Excellent food that's worth the price. Pictures are of the supreme sauce chicken (left), soy garlic chicken (right), and magic fries. Chicken and fries both taste great. Soy garlic sauce is really good, magic seasoning is amazing (tastes a lot like sour cream and onion powder, and it works!) Supreme sauce wasn't for me, but still pretty good. Service is also very good, very kind and hardworking staff. 10/10 recommendation!”

“This place is new and replaced the little caesars that was here. Pizza was ready in just 10 min, and prices are fair! Pizza was very cheesy but pretty basic- as expected. Wish the crust was a little thicker. Site says they have deep dish but currently this is unavailable.. I’m curious to try it when it become available. Not the biggest fan of the garlic bread- pretty flat but very garlicky.”

“The good: the food presentation is on point. Everything looks great, you eat with your eyes first and this place delivers. The food came out on time, and the service was great. All of the tapas we had were really good. The not so good: I did have a little shell in my crab dish I know it happens sometimes, but for the price of this I expect closer to perfection. Our table had 3 paella, 2 of them were great, the third fell flat and was left largely untouched, which went overlooked, no offer to exchange or remove the $70 plate of rice. The bad: Price. Man, I've been to Spanish tapas places all over, and I'd never call them budget friendly bites, but our bill for 2 people was $340 after tax & tip. The other couples in our party were in the same ballpark. That's without bottles of wine. At half that price I'm a little bummed but I'd go back. I'm not sure I'll be back.”

“The ONLY chicken place worth going to in the Ann Arbor area, from this point on for my husband and I. We ordered the Fat Daddy Chicken Sandwich, the Chicken Cheese Fries, Fried pickles, and Banana Pudding. The portions were generous, the flavors were perfection (we ordered it hot--just enough to feel the heat, but not enough to break a sweat), the fries were seasoned and crisp. The Banana pudding made me weak in the knees. Seriously....run, don't walk to this place! We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!”

“For all the different kinds of food we can get in the area, dim sum and Bao is something that was sorely missing, and we are happy that this restaurant opened! We had a few items off the menu, and among those the Pork Bao Buns and Xiao Long Bao were outstanding, and we can't wait to try the lotus chicken and the other bao options. While I haven't been to China, we found these as good as what we've had in Toronto and San Francisco China towns.”

“This is such a cool place! Hidden in the basement of Circ, this wasn't at all what I was expecting. It definitely looks like they kept the old charm from the building and upgraded it to be a low-key, almost speak-easy type venue. We were assured that the lack of seating right now was just because of COVID, and that this will NOT become just another Ann Arbor club. The space has very low lighting, so give your eyes time to adjust if you're coming in from a bright day. Drinks are beautifully made, and cost as such-- cocktails here are around $15 each. But they're tasty, and each one is unique! Plus you're paying for the unique vibes. Definitely give them a shot! They're technically open at the moment but haven't even had their official "soft opening," so it may be a while before they're running at full steam.”

“Me and my family chose to have a celebratory cigar here celebrating an anniversary and had a wonderful time. The entire staff was so pleasant from the manager to the bar staff. Excellent ventilation and some delicious cocktails. The speakeasy like entrance into the lower bar area was cool too. They also happened to have an in house roller putting together some fine smokes. I have never felt more welcome at a cigar bar before.”

“WiFi: 2.7 mbs down 3.0 upload: painfully slow; Printer: No; Seats: 35: ecclectic cozy/normal seating options; Outlets: 0.5 outlets per seat, awkward spots; Lighting: Medium, open air feeling; Noise: noisy buzz; but fine for focus; Vanilla Late: not sure Order pressure: none Awesome buzzing atmosphere from the surrounding market and shops, with a cozy fire place and ecclectic seating options. I loved this shop! The only downside was the WiFi. It was too slow to handle my VPN and basic working needs. If you send me a picture of an upgraded WiFi I would update my rating to 5 stars!”

“Great setting to have some amazing food. Good music playing, string lights, and nice view of the city from a cool bus. We sampled five of the flavors and they were all very good. The jerk chicken was my fav, followed by the Korean inspired. My SOs was the fried chicken. They must fry their own hard shells, which has got to be the secret to putting it over the top. Nicely stuffed tacos where three satisfied me very well. Anyway, great friendly family running this cool eatery. Ann Arbor is getting some really cool food truck action going. Tall people, watch your head though! Low ceiling. 😉”

“Venue is 🤩 amazing. Top shelf everything. The food is out of this world and the classical European style cafe/market that is going to open on the 12th (the guy who gave me a tour is really passionate about it) sounds like a wonderful addition to the Ann Arbor coffee scene.”

“They have such yummy, fresh, and creamy smoothies. I have tried most of them and only one I don't like much is Northern Berry just cause the citrus actually was too much for my tongue! Anna's is my favorite! And their Açai bowl is so delicious. Highly recommend especially since every Tuesday they have Power Hour so you get cheaper smoothies! (That's only time I go and the online app ordering is very simple and automatically applies the deal!)”

“If I could give Sparrow kitchen six stars I would, I'm so glad I heard about this place. The portions are extremely filling, the quality is through the roof, and the prices are extremely reasonable to the point I would call it affordable even. I'm honestly blown away with how good this place is, pretty much any other place in Ann arbor you'll be paying the same amount for a sandwich half the size with far less inside of it. My bacon avocado turkey sandwich was twice the size of any comparable sandwich from a place in Ann arbor, honestly tasted better, and felt like it had much higher quality ingredients; AND it was only $12! I cannot recommend stopping in here enough you will not regret it :)”

“This place is quite impressive. Despite the outside looking a bit mundane, the interior is modern and clean. Although I have only tried the lunch bento, I find the food to be impressive in terms of taste, quantity, variety, and price. This is pretty much my favorite restaurant on the north side of the river. I would heavily recommend trying this place out.”

“I have been coming to this place since they opened usually once or twice per month. It’s a very nice cafe/restaurant and an asset to our community. They have a great, covered wrap around patio that is quite pleasant to sit in and has been really helpful during the pandemic. Their food is good and a cut above all the other coffee places in the area. It is very reasonable in price. They serve locally roasted Hyperion coffee which is excellent. The staff has always been friendly and efficient in my experience. It also feels good to support a local business. I hear it’s up for sale and I hope they are able to maintain these excellent qualities.”

“Brisket rice bowl was top notch. Just the right amount of heat. Added the sesame cucumbers too! It was absolutely amazing. The staff was awesome too. I will definitely be back!”
