Buddy's Pizza

Buddy's has been chosen the best pizza in Michigan, the USA and the world. The first 2 I know from the awards on their restaurants walls, the last one I'm just guessing about. They have amazingly good pizza available just about anyway you want it. They offer gluten free pizza that my good friend says is delicious. They even have pizzas you can buy where a portion of the proceeds goes to a small variety of local charitable organizations and places. The menu has much more than pizza, including great burgers and sandwiches. It's a popular place but it's one of the few places I don't mind standing in line for a table

Buddy's Pizza is an awesome place. They have daily lunch specials which are affordable for anyone on a budget. But don't let that stop you and make you think that the food is cheap, the food is quality and it tastes amazing. Whether you're sitting at a bar or not able to service is excellent, and with 14 beers on tap have got something for just about anybody. Detroit style pizza has truly captured my heart, was with my friend who has had pizza all over the world and he said number three in my top five by far.

Our pizza was crispy, but rather greasy. I guess this is their signature style I've been hearing about for decades. I've had better "Detroit Style" pizza from the freezer section at Meijer. Everybody else in SE Michigan seems to love this place, but the pizza didn't impress me.

To end on a good note, the service was descent and their Mediterranean salad was great.

The first time we came here we had a great experience. Decent service and really good pizza. I'm not sure what's happened but the last 3 times we've been after our initial time, the service has been poor and the food mediocre to put it kindly. Maybe it's just bad luck but the first time was so good that we'll probably give it just one more shot. Hopefully it's as yummy as we remember!

Got the margarita pizza and it was great. The crispy crunchy crust is on point. Best part? The service! Tommy was such a great waiter and is a people person! Expect a wait, this place is popular.
