Cardamom Restaurant

Absolutely delicious and hands down the best Indian food in Ann Arbor! I actually had my first date with my husband here and we love coming in! It's kind of a bummer that they have limited hours/days but it's still so worth it for the quality of the food you get!

Amazing food and great staff. Can get super busy some nights so make sure to get there early and be prepared to wait a bit. Completely worth it though with so many choices and an easy to understand menu for people not familiar with Indian food. Also, great vegetarian options!

This is a hidden gem amongst Indian restaurants at Ann Arbor. The prices were also quite reasonable. They have Indian music going on in the background which provides the atmosphere of a real Indian restaurant. They have a good variety of both south and north Indian cuisines...also offering Thalis. You'd love this place. You won't be disappointed.

The decor has changed since I last ate there. Generally my vegan family does take out from them . This time I had an opportunity to see cardamom in person. I am impressed ! It's more upscale and inviting. The staff are very nice and the food is absolutely wonderful! Whether you get vegan or meat the spices are on point. We took our leftovers home for lunch the next day. The chicken...great, the vegan entrees wonderful too.

My wife brings me take out from Cardamom because she knows I love lamb curry, and no matter what style we order, the curry entrees here are always wonderful. So much so that even though their fresh-made flat bread is amazing, we're good with just the curry and long-grain rice that comes with it. We've eaten there as well and had a good experience, though these days we mostly just take out.
