Denny's

Service was slow. 10 minutes until we had wait staff stop. I think the waiter was training someone but did not specify that. 30 minutes for food (breakfast food) and it seemed pretty empty. Food was good but holy cow it took forever!!!

6/13/19 mid afternoon. This is the nicest Denny's experience we've had yet. Never been to this particular location before and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly we were seated and moreso the food quality. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions and avocado were all fresh with great flavor and no discoloration. Our waitress was new and in training, we found the wait staff to be attentive overall and pretty much on point. I was impressed that I was offered a drink refill in a to-go cup as we were getting ready to cash out. While the burger patties were nicely seasoned (great flavor) and perfectly cooked to temperature, they were also not drained well before being put on the bun, which made the sandwich soggy by the time it was brought to the table and a bit messy to eat. Our waitress and her trainer did check with us regularly ???? but needed to pay a little more attention to removing things no longer needed from the table, like drinking straw wrappers. The loaded tater tots were delicious ???? but I suggest appetizer plates when a shareable is brought out to a couple. I would definitely eat at this Denny's again ????

I give a four ( because no one is perfect) and as such I stood around a while waiting to be seated, decided to go get cleaned up. Came back and waited a while longer. Once that was done I was seated and from there on they got there 4. Turns out that it was training day. If you have seen the movie you understand. Just so you know, that was the best double cheeseburger I have had in a long time. Cheesy tots..! 55 and older 25% off you tab.... let dad get that one.

Denny's is just not very good quality food. I was only there because people I know from school wanted to go. You can easily take my rating with a grain of salt, because I have never liked denny's. My family cooks well, and I went to school for culinary... so I'm very biased. The service is terrible though. Why did it take a half hour to an hour for the food to come out after we ordered... The menu isn't difficult. I really just don't understand the appeal.
