Jerusalem Garden

I have been going to JG since I was a little boy. I would never say anything they make is bad, but it does not compare very favorably to the quality and authenticity found at other area Middle Eastern restaurants. Most of the dishes seem to skimp slightly on the necessary spices and thus come off tasting bland. Don’t avoid, but understand that driving to Ypsilanti, or even better Dearborn, will yield a far superior meal.

Jerusalem Garden is by far my favorite Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine restaurant. The falafel is by far the best I've had and their plates/sandwiches are really delicious. I'd go for the chicken and garlic yogurt plate, the falafel , or the chicken sandwich if you haven't had them before. Everything I've had there is delicious. They also have some of the best fries in Ann Arbor.

Best falafel , tabbouleh, garlic sauce and desserts. Lentil soup is disappointing - very pasty. Also nice place to people-watch from the tables on the deck. Very good efficient service

I worked there at one time and can attest that the kitchen is the CLEANEST I've ever worked in, that the food is always FRESH, and that there isnt a single item on the menu that isn't of the highest quality. The food is healthy and the prices are beyond reasonable! The sandwiches are the best value. Great location and atmosphere.

JG is a convenient place for good Mediterranean eats. If you like falafels and good hummus, this is a spot for you. They have a wide menu and quick service. I only wish their food had a bit more personality.
