You know, there are places and then there are PLACES. Roos is firmly in the all-caps-high-marks-bold-font-jazz-hands category of coffee-roasting-community-space-beverage-bonanza-you-really-don't-want-to-go-anywhere-else kind of PLACE! High marks for accessibility, welcoming attitude, barista banter, and great music. Oh, and the coffee? It's excellent.

Easily one of the best coffee roasters/shops in southeast Michigan. The coffee is very high quality. You get fresh, tasty beans with a decent variety in roast styles and flavors.

It is a bit on the pricey side compared to other local shops, but in my opinion the coffee taste warrants it. That said, if you are someone who is less picky about coffee, keep the price in mind.

This location also has a cool atmosphere and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

This place has some fantastic coffee! I've tried all but the decaf brews, and love every single one! The customer service here is excellent, and everyone is so friendly and warm. It's a great place to grab your morning cup of coffee for sure! Thanks for being awesome Roos! ?

I love this place. I usually visit Ann Arbor every summer and fall. Last fall I was introduced to Lobster Butter Love and have had no other coffee in our house since. I order online when we are finishing up our last bag and it arrives in time so there is never a LBL free morning. With every single order, there is a postcard inside the box with a personalized handwritten message and they make me smile every time. No traveling this year for us, so the online ordering is much appreciated. Thanks for being awesome!
