The Grotto - Watering Hole

One of my favorite Ann Arbor watering holes. We particularly enjoy the outdoor seating in the warmer months. Friendly, informed service. Love that the draft list is so fluid, we can always find new brews to try

Came here several weeks ago for the basketball game. They have nice atmosphere and variety of drinks. I want to come back for some up coming music events.

It's an amazing place to hangout in the warmer months. The atmosphere and seating setup are much improved from when it first opened. They have a great selection of beers, wine and even liquor. The only thing that is really lacking is the service sometimes. It can be inconsistent -- sometimes people come around every 5 minutes for a bit, but then it seems as if they're gone a half hour or more. Also, it's worth noting that if you sit at the tables out on the actual sidewalk, you can't take the drinks out there yourself due to city rules. So you have to wait for a server to come out, which as I said can be inconsistent sometimes. But overall it's a great place to chill for a while.

Small venue with a nice outdoor seating area! Their system of ordering your drinks at the bar then finding a seat is efficient and easy. The staff was friendly and fast.

Great love music on Thursday night. Have a cool craft beer or a glass of wine inside or out in the heart of Ann Arbor. Great location for .people watching.
