“Literally THE BEST Chinese food!!! I’ve tried many places but none are this great!!! The fried rice by itself is very flavorful and can be a meal by itself. I always get the sweet and sour chicken combination dinner that comes with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. The portions are huge and prices are low. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and have many times to family and friends. You won’t be disappointed!!! They even have HALAL meat too for those of us that are Muslim!!! They keep every receipt of the HALAL right on the wall by the end of the counter near the dining area so you can see that they are using halal when you order it halal. 10 stars, yes I know there’s only 5 but it’s the bomb.com once you taste it!”

“Soo Fraiche Grill is here inside the store and it’s amazing!! Had the rice bowl with two meats Steak and Chicken. All cooked greasy right in front of me so it was hot and perfectly seasoned. Also had a pine of wings with that home made lemonade that floored us with taste. Finished with the home made banana pudding then went back to get the strawberry banana pudding because the kids ate all mine. Defiantly going back and the whole family was happy. Wife and I and three kids all are.”

“Since the Van Born Tavern opened up, we've visited at least once or twice a week. The food is SUPERIOR to any other bar we've ever been in and the service is the same! It's comfortable, clean, spacious for a small place and the menu speaks for itself. We've tried nearly everything on the menu and it's all good. There are dozens of craft beers as well as other adult beverages- many top shelf. There are drink and food specials each day and everything is made fresh! Although it's a bar, they are still kid friendly and have high chairs available! The soups are amazing and the grilled veggies are crisp and tasty if you prefer to switch up a side with your meal. If you go there and are undecided about a menu item, look out because it's all FABULOUS! Way better than the description! Several tv's are on so you can catch up on the latest game, they have keno and serve coffee and tea. There's something for everyone at this tavern! Even the smokers can poke outside a patio when they want.”

“I had the worst experience with this store on 4/10/19. Door Dash delivered a medium-sized "The Works" pizza and honey-type wings at a whopping price of $34.00 (including a $4 tip). I requested well-done toppings, but when I opened the box, the presentation of the toppings were SLOPPILY prepared (large pieces of bell peppers and uncooked ham) with an overall uneven distribution of toppings. When I contacted the store to complain, I was informed that they could give me a free "TWO-TOPPING" medium pizza, but I had to "pick it up" because they don't deliver in the Detroit area. I declined this meager offer and asked to speak to the manager. Again, I was informed that this was all they could do for me. I will never, ever, place an order at this location again!!”

“I had known this as the original 50s McDonald's before it was suddenly decided to renovate this place. I have absolutely no complaints against the renovation but there was a certain charm about the old place where people would reminisce about the old days. Telegraph is also one of the older streets which passes through various cities / suburbs as it is known now. Decent little place which can get very busy. It does have a play area and two drive thru bays. Nothing apart from the usual.”

“This is more a critique of the Dunkin' app and in-house computer system, which is corporate. The ability to order ahead is wonderful. The staff, too, are friendly. However, for example, if a particular drink comes default with five pumps of syrup and you want only two pumps, your order shows on the store's screen as -3 pumps. Nine times out of ten my drink will have three pumps. These employees are busy, so I understand how "three" sticks in their mind, rather than the "-" symbol. My order should say "two pumps", not "-3" pumps. This defeats the purpose of ordering ahead to save time, as my drink usually needs remade. This can cause frustration for both the customer and the employee. Again, this is a corporate issue more than an employee issue, in my opinion. So, to customers who order a more personalized mix, be careful that the drink you get at the window is the drink you intended.”

“They've been here over 25 years and is partly renovated. I always have great service due to my favorite gal, Laurie. New items on the menu came about a year ago. Easy access to S. Telegraph road means easy access to I-94 as well. It's just North of VanBorn Road. Open 24 hours as well you can have a good meal @ any hour of your day. I just don't like how some managers treat the staff, so it's important to me or it can't have 5☆. Enjoy.”

I thought I ordered Cashew Chicken but Cashew Shrimp was delivered to the table. The waitress said she would make the chicken and of course it was delivered hot and even before my son was finished with his meal! What a great experience and we will definitely be back.”

“I guess I must have visited on an off day, I was standing by the counter for 7 minutes before someone took my order. The delay was odd because no one was in front of me and the restaurant was not crowded. That was just the beginning of my not-so-great experience there. I am willing to give it another try since I have had great experiences at other Wendy's locations. Hopefully a better experience next time.”
