I hadn't been here in years but I stopped by recently with a friend for brunch--and it's still my favorite little diner ever. My eggs were perfectly poached, the thick slices of baked country ham were too big to finish and the side of flavorful greens was awesome.

They still cook with real butter which could be a plus or minus, depending on your perspective, but it's indicative of the integrity of their cooking. Real food, thoughtfully prepared. The bacon on my friend's salad was perfectly crisped and the baby spinach looked as if it had been picked that morning.

It's busy, but the staff are great--with the true Detroit hospitality and friendliness that I've missed ever since I moved away.

I have been going to The Clique for 30+ years and they NEVER disappoint. My favorites are the omelettes, the chicken sausage and, of course the famous Pancakes! It is worth the wait

This place is the best in Detroit far as breakfast. Truly love this place my visit I was going to leave because of the outside. Don’t let it fool you this place is awesome!

Located in a motel, this place is great. Food was delicious. Service was very good. Food came out fast and hot. The raisin bread French toast was excellent. Aren't the baby pancakes cute?

The prices went up but the food is still worth it. Delicious!!!!! I hadn't been in a few years and its just as I remembered...THE BEST! $13...Salmon Patties, pancakes, grits and eggs ????????????
