This is cool old bar with character. Bigger than it first appears. Bartenders worth both very good as attentive but not bugging you. One laid back and one cracking jokes and fun(goofing around but pro). Loved atmosphere and scene in bar as easy going. Large beer selection on draft and bottled. Something for everyone. This was a great stop as food was ordered all over and drinks with fair prices for downtown. A must stop and would go again.
This is my go to bar whenever I'm downtown. If we can't decide where to eat, or have conflicting opinions, we come to Grand Trunk. The beer list is always amazing and pretty cheap. All of the beers are Michigan made and there is always a great variety of styles. By now I've eaten from most of the menu. The fried pickles are always a favorite. I also enjoy grabbing brunch here. Bloody Mary's are around $7 for the first, and $1 for each additional one.My only complaint is that service is always slow, but good. The servers seem to genuinely care and are very kind. They are just not always present.I can't wait to stare and the ceilings at Grand Truck and enjoy my next Michigan brew.
Amazing experience! Our server was great and friendly. I'd recommend the pretzels and beer cheese appetizer for sure- so delicious. I enjoyed the impossible burger while my partner ate the veggie wrap. Lots of beer options if you're into that. The architecture was notable as well- the ceilings were beautifully arched, and it was a delightfully chill rustic feel.
Grand a Trunk Pub is a friendly place with bartenders knowledgeable of their massive local craft beer list. Plenty of local brews on draft and many more local craft beers and spirits in bottles. The food looked great, and the bar area maintains the look of the former railway station it now occupies.
