One of my favourite restaurants in Detroit area. They have very good sea food and it’s usually fresh. The sushi is great. The service is nice and their daily special is usually very good. Recommended for personal dining or business
My experience at Joe Muer restaurant was a pure delight from the beginning to the end. First when me and my husband got there we didn't know that there was a dress code however they still allowed us to come dine inside. Immediately we noticed the interior decor and it was really nice, very elegant and clean. Next we had a waitress named Bridget and she was Awesome!!!! She was very attentive but not smothering, very pleasant, knowledgeable, suggestive, Just A Joy. We will be requesting her our next visit! The food can be a little pricey depending on your choice but it is affordable. Also, the portions are generous and fulfilling. I actually got an appetizer for my Entree it was the Shrimp and Grits and it was Delicious i had Lobster bisque for my starter and tried a wonderful new refreshing drink Strawberry and Basil Lemonade. My Husband had the Lobster Bisque as well with the Rainbow Trout for his Entree. We then ended with the Mixed Berry creme brulee which included a special surprise note from our waitress Bridget!!!!
I had one of the best dining experience at Joe Muer Seafood. Everything was excellent. The drinks, the food, the ambiance and the service. We got there late, and the restaurant closed while we were still eating. The manager came over and told us not to try and rush our food and assured us that it was no problem that we were still eating. I thought that was really special.
Not an inexpensive place to eat but probably worth it for most. Plenty of intimate tables and also window views of the river. Great service. The lobster bisque was ok and the shrimp and grits pretty tasty. There is an active bar and also a sushi station. If you want seafood in Detroit this restaurant should be at the top of your list.
Best Dinner and Service I have ever had in my life! Our waitress “Tonya” was absolutely outstanding!! The Salmon was awesome! The cheesecake was amazing and Tonya added an extra special touch to our cheesecake with a special note written on it, which just made our night! Thank you Tonya and the rest of Joe Muir Staff for a wonderful night! I would rate a 10 Star if it was available!
