(August 1, 2019, 6:44 pm)I just moved back home to Detroit not long ago, and had never heard or been to Louie's; but I tell you, my Family and I love the breakfast but today had the Corned Beef sandwich (the absolute best tasting corned beef ever) and when you come in (I hope I spell her name right) Mekayla is fantastic!!! she always has a beautiful smile to greet you and the food is delicious. Thank You!

(July 9, 2019, 9:58 pm)The bean & ham soup, combined with a half corned beef & pastrami sandwich, for $9.99, was the best! Salads that went by us were huge & the menu offered everything deli, breakfast & dinner. A perfect place to visit before or after an Eastern Market shopping trip.

(May 31, 2019, 5:57 pm)The food was awesome! The chicken noodle soup has amazing broth and the chicken was so delicious! I had a Reuben sandwich and that was so fantastic too! The rye bread was absolutely amazing, I have to say it may be the best I've ever had! Staff was wonderful, restuarant was clean and it wasn't that expensive either! Thanks for the great lunch

(May 15, 2019, 5:07 pm)Great place for breakfast and later a corn beef sandwich. Their corn beef sandwiches are huge. Well worth the money. Fries are large enough to be shareable. The sides are kinda pricey but they are really large.
