The food was good and the service was good. It wasn't crowded so we enjoyed the meal. I would recommend this place someone told us about it.
Ribs and brisket was good, but the collard greens were damn good!!! 4 flavors of barbecue sauce on every table. Service was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed, not to mention the lemon drop and blonde draft.
Not What It Was Hyped to Be, but it's not bad. I ordered the brisket mac n cheese. It was fatty and tough in some places, mixed in. Presentation was just ok. Beef brisket is not normally served in chopped up pieces when I have ordered it in the past and I expected it to be better. I feel like I got don't loose ends that the restaurant didn't want to serve in strips to others.
The Mac was greasy. I expected a golden brown top, or something worthy of the reviews I had heard. To me, the leftovers were worthy to bring home to my parrot but I didn't want to eat them. I also had ordered gumbo in advance and never got it. The meal came with cornbread that I found to be kind of dry . I asked for butter and they brought me to somewhat melted pats of butter which was insufficient. My friend asked for butter and they brought her only one. Butter didn't seem to do it enough for the cornbread.
Food is good and hot.. Reasonably priced.. Nice wait staff.. Tight seating setting.. But still nice experience.
I love barbecue and this has to be the best I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. Great sauces and sides to add. Large servings, great price. Had Julius as our server and he was delightful!
