Shangri-La

The first place I had real, good Chinese food. Wonderful atmosphere, great neighborhood restaurant. Great drinks, Pin - the bartender is my absolute favorite. We make sure to visit every couple months even though we've moved out of the city. My ONLY complaint is that they don't really have any sustainability awareness. I recommend eating in restaurant if you don't want 37 plastic bags, packets, and styrofoam containers.

Food was really good. But the place is super small and intimate. They do have an second level. I did notice the stairs we're steep. Not cool for older customers. The wife and I had take out, too cramped for my style.

Such great food! There was a bit of a wait so reservations are recommended. We had a great time!

Incredible dim sum that is truly authentic Cantonese; it impressed visiting Chinese colleagues, who came back for seconds! The variety here is incredible, with plenty of Thai and American Chinese options, sushi, and bubble tea. The sushi is better than your average pan asian restaurant, and on par with other local sushi places. Highly recommended.

Great Chinese food! The service is friendly, polite, and professional and the food is cooked to order, so it's always hot. They wear shirts that say "real Chinese people eat here" which says a lot. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Detroit!
