Enjoyed our evening with best friends at Atwater in the Park. Our group sampled many of the beers and some of the food. The huge hot and salty German Pretzel with three kinds of cheese was a hit. The sausage dishes and my chicken and waffles were very good. I'm not really a beer drinker. On a warm day, I do like a crisp sparkling cider. They had one cider beer on the menu. Not very sparkling, but good enough for me. The beer connoisseurs in our group enjoyed tasting their way around the menu. The dogs were treated to ice water and really enjoyed their night out with their owners.
Large selection of good beer. The food we had was good too. I highly recommend this brewery in a old church.
Atwater in the Park is a terrific tap room. An extensive selection of fresh brewed beers and a very good menu of bar food, plus pizza and several entrees. But the star here is the place itself - an excellent reuse of an old church. The original sanctuary is now the main tap room. It's very cool. You enter the building by walking through an old court yard. In nice weather, this is where you'll want to be. This is a very family oriented establishment. When the court yard is open, there will be several corn hole games going on along the sides of the court yard. It's all great fun. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
