J. Alexander's Restaurant

I’ve been to this J. Alexander location several times and have not been disappointed yet. One thing I specifically want to write about is their smoked salmon appetizer. This appetizer is our go-to every time we come here. It is absolutely TO DIE FOR! Large chunks of smoked salmon mixed in a delicious mayo mixture, served with toasted bread crisps. SO good! Another excellent dish is their Thai Chicken Salad. We often order the salmon dip and then split the Thai salad and it’s perfect. I do with they had bread baskets, though. It’s the only restaurant I know that doesn’t serve bread, even at request. Service has always been excellent for us. Sometimes there is a wait, but if you make reservations or go early enough, you won’t have any problems.

Nice food, average priced. They can turn a table really quick so it’s good for lunch or a quick homemade dinner. It’s like a Ruth Chris but less fancy. You can wear jeans and be okay.

Second time stopping here for lunch while in the area. The food was very good. Salad was fresh and crisp. Fish was very good. Service was great. Our lunch arrived quickly. All in all a good experience.
