But the cashier was pretty rude and when my grandma asked for the prices she snapped and was like " Well it's on the board ma'am" knowing that my grandma is old and can't see those tiny prices. “This is a hidden gem. I've lived in the area all my life and this is my first trip to this restaurant. I was impressed by the cleanliness right from the start. We were greeted in a timely manner. The menu is impressive with a variety of choices. I had the Lemon baked cod with real mashed potatoes and a cup of cabbage soup. The fish was cooked perfectly and not too lemony. Loved the cabbage soup! Even the potatoes are worth rating with a star. We eat out every Monday and are looking forward to many more trips to try more from the menu. The soup and salad bar looks impressive with 6 soups to choose from. They even have hummus as a salad choice. I recommend this place for anyone looking for quality home style cooking. My dinner partner ordered the liver and onions, also cooked perfectly to his specification. The onions were tender and sweet. Delicious! They are open 7 days a week 7 am- 9pm which is a plus.”
