Excellent meal! This was a perfect appetizer to have with beer on tap, for the Horses, on a Rainy, cold day. It was a heavier meal but I recommend it for this cold UpNorth weather! I will return.

I did not have to wait, nor have I ever. The internet posted an over hour wait - that is not at all what I have ever experienced with service here. Service has always been excellent.

I was there on Friday August 28th and had a very different experience than I had 3 weeks earlier. The service and food quality is going downhill.
I called on the 28th and spoke with Peyton to reserve a table for that evening. Peyton was very friendly and helpful. She asked if I wanted a table inside or out, I requested a table inside. Upon arrival we were greeted immediately by a young gentleman who wanted to put us at a table outside. I told him I called and requested a table inside. He said it would be a while as they were full. Looking around the restaurant there were at least 5 tables that were open. I asked about the open tables, he said they were reserved. I pointed out another table, he said it was reserved for a party of 4, we had a party of 3. That table for 4 was finally occupied by a couple, not a party of 4. The walleye cakes were bland and food quality was not great. With an open kitchen and during a pandemic, it was concerning to see not all kitchen staff had a mask and gloves on. This visit was disappointing as I had been there 3 weeks earlier and the food was great. It will be a while before I go back, as there are so many other great places to go in that area.

Delicious sandwich! Nice space seating for covid. Our waitress was very friendly! Large area to sit outside if you like.

I wanted to love it. Food was beautifully prepared, but lacked any kind of seasoning. Server was sweet, but not attentive with refills or checking back. Building and decor is on point. Giant pretzel is homemade and a must.

I would give them a 10. We found by accident, and thank you God. We hated living in the cities, but miss the food options. We had walleye cakes, pear salad, rib eye steak dinner, and bacon brownies dessert. Everything was excellent. Decor was very nice, prices reasonable for what you get. A little confusing called brew pub, but has full bar. The best restaurant in the whole brainerd lakes area. Finally someone knows how to cook a steak.. If you want to impress company, definitely the place to go.
