“This place is amazing! We called about 9 and asked if the kitchen was still open, and they said come on in, no problem! Even tho I'm pretty sure they were getting ready to close up (dang corona) we were greeted like family, and the food was incredible! I recommend the Caribbean sand, pulled pork, coleslaw, and some super yummy sauce, on a hoagie bun. And the sweet potato fries that came with it were scrumptious. Absolutely perfect. Thank you folks at lakewood! You rock!”

“What an amazing place! We stopped in for breakfast and walked out feeling 100% satisfied with every aspect of this cafe. The owner, Brenda, went above and beyond to make our experience one of the best. She is knowledgeable about the Ortonville area, as we are "new in town". The food is outstanding (egg croissant is outstanding!!) and Im known to be picky :) The portions are great for such a reasonable price!! We can't wait to go back!”
