Tokyo Sushi & hibachi

Was glad to find a great takeout sushi place in Mankato during COVID-19. They’ve got the takeout ordering window figured out (zero contact), and online order placement was a breeze. This was our first order and we were happy with everything: Mankato Roll, Amazing Tuna Roll, and Vegetable Udon noodles. The meal was tasty and decently priced. Thanks Tokyo Sushi & Hibachi.

Its the only Japanese restaurant in Mankato with proper sushi and hibachi. Appetizers and sushis are half price at all times which makes this place really affordable for a family outing. Lunch hibachi is also half price till 3 pm everyday. The interior of this restaurant is really soothing and nice. The staffs however are rude and seem to be always in haste instead of providing good customer service. The food makes up for it though. Sea food fried rice is the best fried rice they have and the seaweed salad is a must try. This restaurant serves complimentary miso soup with an order of fried rice. They give this white sauce with their fried rices which is to die for. The bento boxes available are affordable here as well. I personally like their bento boxes. Their shrimp tempura is amazing too. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Over all its a great place for sushi and authentic Japanese food in Mankato.

I eat here usually once a week. Its really inexpensive and the food is decent. It's not the best sushi, but it's not bad either. So for the price, I'm happy!

This place is amazing, truly. My sister and I wanted Sushi and randomly decided to eat here. It exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff and amazing food. We both recommend the Chicken Fried Rice and any of the Tokyo Fried Rolls.

Been here several times, I think the food and prices are great. Their veggie fried rice is the best I've ever tried. Never had a bad run in with the sushi here. The only thing stopping me from giving them a 5 star rating is that one of their staff is consistently less than friendly. Brought some friends and family here and am disappointed when we get that waitress. The rest of the staff is great though!
