“We were hungry after spending hours waiting to get into Sibley Park. This place was open and it looked decent and cheaply priced. The pizza was great! We ended up trying the pulled pork, the steak and fries, the mac&cheese and the buffalo chicken. All 4 were cooked beautifully and tasted great. The Mac was our favorite, as it was loaded with at least 3 cheeses and the noodles weren't overcooked. Next time we're in Mankato, we'll be back.”

“New owners ?? At first I was a little disappointed that the guy who usually works lunch and knows my order wasn’t there and that after setting up Apple Pay this weekend they don’t take it. However, the owner and employee were wonderful. The owner was so patient and kind and worked with me to find a way to pay with my card. And even took a moment to tell me about their new system they are getting and hopefully Apple Pay in the near future. Food was fast, correct, and delicious as always. I will be sure to keep coming back for lunch!”

“Been frequenting Blue Bricks since it opened in 1999. It is definitely a favorite. Food is usually good, though we have sent many things back for being over cooked. We simply ask that it is not over cooked when we order, and that usually works. Most of the staff are good, and very friendly, but there can be unreasonably rude bartenders, who are not liked by patrons or other staff. But we overlook those things, because we like the place. The wait staff ALWAYS gives us excellent table service, and even have glasses chilling for us before we even sit down. Also, it's best to go early to avoid the younger, louder crowd, if you prefer a calmer experience.”

“Nolabelle Kitchen + Bar is a unique dining experience in downtown Mankato. The interior is welcoming and has an upscale feel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu has good variety with entrees and food combinations you do not find at the local bar and grill. The have a number of specialty and seasonal drinks to get you started. The food came quickly and was prepared like you would expect in a higher end restaurant. We did try the dessert too and it was was excellent. Prices are above average and portions are smaller than most restaurants. Dessert servings are also smaller, so be sure you go for the experience and ambiance. If you are looking to get filled up with food to bring home for lunch tomorrow, this may not be the restaurant for you.”
