Gordy's is an amazing burger joint for lunch and dinner( really one of my favorites to eat at, but I live a good amount away so I go once a year) juicy burgers, great sides, not too expensive and a really comfy place to eat. There's also a nice playground outside along with a warming house that serves hard ice cream with tons of flavors. This is definetly a great place to stop if your road tripping. And this is the only location as it's family owned so don't miss your chance.
Love gordys! It's a family tradition! We go every season for opening the cabin and closing as this is about the half way point for us coming from the cities. I love the double cheese burger and I love the French fries too! Delicious food and it's so fun to see Gordy too!
Gordy's Hi-Hat is an American classic. While it might be a little tucked away, get out your adventurer's hat because it's worth it. Everything you can imagine in a 50's diner (and more) is on the menu. With tasty burgers, fries, onion rings, shakes, etc. it's a grill paradise. There's often a long line, but never worry! The waiters quickly take your order to allow you to sit down and wait for your food to be made. While only in operation during the summer, I would suggest stopping by and paying tribute to a icon of Minnesota and the Midwest!
Fun place to stop on for a burger. If you have a dog there is a great dog park where you can let your dog run while you eat at a picnic table. Food was made quickly and the burgers were good. The family size fries is ridiculously large. Our family of four barely made a dent. Order the regular unless you have 6 to 10 people.
We love this place. Classic burgers served simple, onion rings to die for and great malts. We've eaten here about 20 times over the years and have never had a bad experience. Be prepared to wait if your going on a weekend. This place is no secret! If you're lucky you can even see the legend himself working behind the counter.
