South Fork BBQ

Hats off to these guys starting a business during this whole shutdown. I went there for lunch for the first time on a random visit while biking down the Luce Line. I had the pulled pork on a gluten-free bun. The gluten-free bun was so buttery and wonderfully crisped that my friend with her regular bun was incredibly jealous of me. The employees were all incredibly friendly and it was nice to see it busy. I wish you the best of success. Your food is awesome!

I've been to alot of BBQ establishments across the south and I think South Fork BBQ could go neck to neck with any of them. It's awesome to have an actual BBQ joint in this area.

One of my favorite past times is picking a town off the map that's a ways outside of the metro, then riding my bike there as hard as I can so that when I arrive...I'm famished. I was very pleased today upon arriving in Watertown (1st time visiting) to find this BBQ joint. It was upwards of 90 degrees with absurd humidity. I had been thinking about food for 2 hours and expectations were impossibly high, but dang..this place slays. I had The South Crow burger and it is a beast - filed with a smashed style patty (always a bonus for texture lovers), onions grilled to the perfect mouth feel, juicy pulled pork, the right amount of slaw, (which added tang and crunch) a fried egg that had the proper amount of black pepper on it, and melty cheddar. On any given day, I'm certain I would have enjoyed this burger, but given the circumstances and conditions, I may have seen the face of God in a moment of bliss. 10/10 recommend.

I ordered from here for the first time on Wednesday and while I typically go to a place a few times before leaving a review. I figured 6 opinions was enough. I ordered for carryout for a whole group(6 people). Since none of us had been we ordered a wide array of things, brisket, burger, mac and cheese, pork, fries, even the bbq beans. Everyone raved! We were all very happy with the taste. We will definitely go again and plan to bring friends.
