The waitress was amazing she was sweet and on top of everything. The food was also amazing. Hot fresh food with home cooked taste, very good. A little more variety would be nice, but it is a small place, so it's understandable that there isn't. The bathrooms need upgrading to handicap status, and it would be nice to have tables and chairs instead of just booths. But I would highly recommend this place for a good breakfast at a great price with fast service. Oh, and I might add that they have the best ice tea around!
Great breakfast!
I had breakfast at this cozy cafe before taking off on a hiking trip. Service was great, food was great. Bacon was perfectly crispy.
Cash only.
Great diner. Extremely friend staff with warm kind service. Food was absolutely incredible. I had the fish (Herring) , eggs, fried potatoes, and toast (pancake). Some of the best fried fish I've ever had and I've had a lot being from Louisiana. First place I visited after we moved were and I can say, we definitely felt welcome. For sure a must if you're looking for peak diner food with one of a kind small town hospitality.
This place has a hometown mom and pop feel. The best things about this place is that they open earlier than other restaurants in town and better yet, they are open every day of the week unlike some of the other local places. We came here because the Blue Water Cafe (which is also very good) was closed on a Wednesday. The omelette was very good and all the breakfasts options offer you one pancake. Customer service was a little slow but we were not in any hurry and the wait was worth it. All of the breakfast menu options are affordable. We found many of the locals prefer this place for their meals.
I ordered food here on a Sunday at about 0645 on Fathers Day 6/18/23.
I ordered the meat omelette with fried potatoes, onion, and cheese, with an order of bacon and sausage.
The food is a little pricey for what I’m used to, but it was delicious.
I would eat here again if I was in the area.
