Kitchen and Rail

Upon visiting Kitchen and Rail, one is immediately struck by the pleasant ambiance, notably the open kitchen which brings a touch of authenticity to the dining experience. The service is commendable, efficient and courteous, aligning well with the quality of the cocktails that were quite the palate pleasers.

Our choice of the 'Cluck and Moo' sandwich, though flavorful, was overshadowed by its disproportionate price to size ratio. Similarly, the duck and rice offered a delightful taste experience which was unfortunately not matched by the quantity; six pieces of duck and a sparse half cup of rice did little to justify the expense. The Vin Rose pasta with meatball was a highlight in terms of flavor, yet it too fell victim to the prevailing theme of modest servings.

We dont need overly large meals but the discrepancy between the portion sizes and the prices is an aspect that severly detracts from the overall satisfaction. This establishment may be best suited for those who seek culinary finesse over a filling meal. Expect to pay a pretty penny.

I was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance, energy, and quality of Kitchen and Rail. I came with a friend to celebrate the recent employment of another dear friend, arriving with zero expectations or preconceptions.

Just upon entering and viewing the aesthetic, I knew I was in for a treat. The interior is not what I expected from the understated branding and outer shell. Inside of a non-descript strip mall restaurant facade lies a rather elaborately decorated lounge-like atmosphere, complete with a rose-mounted chandelier. I was impressed.

The staff were spectacular, polite and welcoming right from the beginning. Our order was taken quickly, yet politely, and we sat comfortably at the bar seats, conversing and observing the surroundings.

Our food arrived rather promptly, beautifully arranged and presented. After the obligatory photos, we tasted our meals... Each bite was to savor, filled with flavor and expertly prepared. The vegetables were bursting with flavor, the fish fresh and lightly blackened.. perfection 👌.

Definitely come in for a visit. We will be back! 💙🩵

Had a great time. Food was amazing. Not too fond of the frog legs. Don’t recommend it, but everything else was delectable. Lavender martini, Chicken wings- I recommend the dry seasoning, pork belly and steak.

The owner also stopped by to say hi. It shows that he cares about his business and the customers.

Thoroughly enjoyed it and will have to come back and try other items on the menu.

Mouthwatering food, impeccable service and hospitality, in a fun if not slightly kitschy vibe. The cocktails are legit, the meatballs are what you wish your grandma made for you, the sliders are a perfect pairing with an adult beverage, and the espresso rubbed steak is a mouthwatering delight. Victor and his team have an absolute home run, and us Eagan residents should count ourselves lucky to have an awesome place like this in our city.
