Took a chance after working out at Lifetime Fitness just behind the building.
Made a wonderful choice..!
I was welcomed immediately and it set the tone/vibe for my experience.
I then had the pleasure of having Liz, Tia, and Sue all working together as my servers.
Can u believe this is just the intro?
Anyways, the food (ALL FROM SCRATCH)
Was DELICIOUS. No more, no less.
I ate the breakfast hot dish and the chicken wild rice soup is outta this world! They need bigger to go bowls to take home..
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.????
Amazing food and excellent customer service! I will be going there again. Highly recommended! Calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Not too far from the zoo so stopped by prior to visiting for an evening event.
Made reservations via Open Table and even showing up 30 minutes earlier was able to be seated.
Waitress was very friendly and prompt with the service.
Ordered drinks and reviewed the menu, hard time deciding as a number of good options but ultimately got:
Adult mac and cheese, was cheesy but a bit heavy on the bread crumbs. Was a toasted layer of cheese and crumbs but mixed in well and tasted good overall.
Tater tot hot dish, was a good mix of beef, corn, mushroom soup, and tots. Good flavor and a hearty portion.
Nashville spicy chicken sandwich with salad. Came open face - big piece of toast with an aioli, the chicken had a great spice on it and topped with b&b cucumbers. The salad was mixed greens with a flavorful dressing was a nice compliment to the sandwich.
We finished the meal with their Death by chocolate bender, such a delicious combination of chocolate and coffee, and a grasshopper cupcake.
Visited Mason Jar for lunch. The space is nice, the menu had a lot of good options, the staff were attentive and friendly. While I didn't try any, I loved that they had fun NA drinks that looked delicious. They had some modern, creative menu items - the apple turkey brie sandwich I had was great. It's only four stars because I'm comparing it to equivalent cafes in, say, St Paul. For the area, Mason Jar is top notch.
