Rudy's Redeye Grill

This is the best breakfast you will find. The French toast is my son's favorite. The country fried steak is the best we have found. Go you won't regret it.

We had drinks at the bar. It was nice, I don't remember if there was music but it was nice and warm. I ordered a martini and a margarita. The martini was weak and the margarita was strong. The staff was very friendly and checked to make sure we were happy with everything.

They catered a wedding I attended and I don’t usually trust wedding meat (it usually is prepared early and left to sit) but Rudy’s is awesome and I took a leap of faith and ordered the steak.
Holy cow (pun intended) they did not disappoint! It was FANTASTIC and hot when it came out, and juicy. Oh, I wish I could have ordered seconds?!

My first visit and I was excited there was a chicken pot pie on the menu. The pie crust was excellent but it should have had a lot more chicken and a lot less celery. I expect such a dish to be a bit salty but this one was over the top. The other seven guests with me all seemed to enjoy their meals.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here on Sunday. It was about 6:30 pm and the service was to be desired. The place was no where near busy but our waitress appeared to be preoccupied with something other than waiting on her paying customers. We both ordered steaks, which were cooked perfectly and tasted great, but missing this "bourbon butter." I had their vegetable side of green beans, and they're known for how amazing these are supposed to be. After tasting the first bite, they were cold and missing the bacon (change of recipe again?) We also expected some sort of bread, given that we both ordered Caesar salads and entrees and after asking the waitress, she shared that it's only available upon request. This must be a secret that everyone else is aware of because how would one even know that it's even offered or available only "upon the request?" After waiving her down once more, we asked for the dessert menu, to which she brought over visuals and we placed our order. My boyfriend had to ask where the drizzle was for his cake, and she explained that their platter is outdated, (another menu change) it's no longer available. I have to give her some credit, she did politely offer a scoop of ice cream to compensate this mistake. Once more, we had to locate her and ask for more water and a to go box. I don't think it's worth the money, despite having a great tasting steak.
