“We had lunch plans at a location that fell through. With construction- we couldn’t even get to alternate location. Ugh. Stopped her as it was nearby and we were running out of time to grab a quick lunch. Best thing that happened. The food was very good. It’s at a local golf course off the beaten path a bit, but quite easy to locate. Worth the drive from Rochester. Two options- bar on bottom and restaurant with full bar on top. Very open, spacious relaxing area to eat. One waitress for the whole place, who took good care of us. Never let my drink get past the halfway mark. They had daily specials- I selected the shrimp tacos and was quite pleased. Seasoned very well. Shrimp were smaller than I have had before on a taco, but I had shrimp in every bite. I’m rethinking how I make them now. Missing cabbage on the taco- lettuce just wasn’t it. Could he e used a bit of a punch of spice, but not bad. Received two with tortilla chips (homemade) with mild salsa. Guest with me ordered cheeseburger. It came naked except cheese and side of ketchup. What? That’s NOT a burger, I’m sorry. No pickle, lettuce not even mustard. No onion, mayo or anything else. Seemed odd to me, but maybe it’s how they roll here. Could have been improved on for sure and top bun was quite dried and cracked when eating. Not overly busy, maybe 4 other tables during week day at noon. Tables are far enough apart we could discuss business matters and not feel others were over hearing us. Would have liked a dessert option, unsure if they have- never offered by waitress. She did provide check timely after we were done eating, with a box for leftovers. Burger better at home with a new bun and some condiments! Price average for the options available. Food came quickly one order taken. We did wait almost 18 minutes for waitress to come over to us. But like I said, she is the ONLY one working. She was busy the entire time and helpful.”

“This operation is actually called Events sports bar and Grill. They have a banquet hall and on the other side a bar/restaurant. Staff was very friendly and the decor was very fitting. Highly suggest the chocolate moose cake! Decent menu and food, can’t complain. A bit expensive but a very nice place to go for a dinner and drink.”

“I've lived in 4 countries, and 18 cities during my 42 year career. I lived in Kenyon at one time, and met the original Ginny. It became my lunch place. I liked it then , and now. Good food, an old time drive-In appeal, with great service. I even drove from Elko, Nevada, directly to Ginny's for the recent car show, 2,000 miles. I'd say I'm happy coming to Ginny's.”

“Contrary to the last reviewer who obviously had one bad experience and projected it onto every apparent meal, the County Seat has not changed from its welcoming atmosphere and their excellent menu. The new owners have taken great care in the continuity of the experience and have maintained their regular customer base, as I am one of them. It still has great food, it still has great coffee and pie, it still is a place that I want to sit down and read a book. The aggregate of Google reviews will affirm this reviewer. “The Hubble House has lots of atmosphere. If you are looking for a quiet, charming restaurant, this is it. Unfortunately the food is only mediocre. The prices are lower than an equivalent meal in Rochester. Our steak was expertly prepared, but not a great cut. The salad was just shredded lettuce.But where else can you substitute pickled herring? The bread pudding and sauce was uninspired. The coffee was truly bad. Overall pleasant but underwhelming.”
