This was my first time there and it was delicious. I got the number one with the pink agua fresca. The food came out quickly and cooked beautifully. The lady at the front provided amazing service. The atmosphere here is warm, it felt like home. I stayed for roughly 3 hours this last weekend just chatting with a friend. The music was great as well. The parking here is great since there’s plenty of spots open. Give this place a try.
Just what we needed in Brooklyn Center! Finally-good Mexican food. It's not just good, it's fantastic!!! I'm so picky and I am not a fan of American Mexican. This is legit, delicious Mexican food! We had Chicken chimichanga, Birria (consome) tacos, French fries, Chips and guacamole. All of the food is amazing!! Great portion sizes too! Run, run out and eat this food!!
There's finally an authentic Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn Center. There are two doors on the left for entry and two doors on the right to exit. The customer service here is extremely pleasant. My husband ordered the shredded pork burrito that came with in-house made tortilla chips. No salsa for the chips, but they do give you a small container of red and green sauce for your burrito. I ordered the shredded pork torta that came with a roasted jalapeño, a small amount of fries, and the same two sauces. The burrito and torta were great to my husband. They actually got him full. I don't like a lot of fatty pieces in/on my meat, so while it was tasty, I think I'll stick with the chicken or steak. While the fries have a great seasoning on them, they do need to be cooked a little longer so they're not so soft by the time you get home. We also ordered their horchatas, which was served without ice, and it was very sweet but still ok. The red sauce is just spicy with no flavor. I actually had to mix the two sauces to taste them, so that's what I suggest you do too if you really want to taste the sauce. A worker (maybe the owner) stated they're having their grand opening this Friday (8-25-2023) at 11:30 A.M.. He stated they mayor should be there too.
What a lovely surprise! I didn't know this new taqueria had opened up, but it's not only open -- it's great! We got the Mar y Tierra (highly recommend!) and a carnitas burrito (also very good). The beans were spectacular -- no mushy beans here. Presentation was appropriate given the price point for each dish. La música estaba un poco ruidosa, pero divertida tambien.
Thanks for a great meal! We'll be back again soon!
