Irie Vybz Jamaican Restaurant

I ordered the shrimp curry with the rice and peas*NOTE The rice and peas came with two pieces of plantain* so I ordered an extra side of plantain also.

I got pictures of the shrimp curry and the extra side of plantain I did not get a picture of the rice and peas my phone died before I could take the picture :( .
Everything was delicious!
Jumbo shrimp enough rice and peas and plantain to feed two people I definitely would recommend the spot!

Pro: everything taste freshly made I could smell the plantain before I opened the to go box.

Con: maybe I didn’t need the extra Plaintain I had enough to share. Also I wish the menu offered Vegetarian options I didn’t see any.

The fact that you could hear the music from outside, was the first sign this place is authentic. My wife and I came here for the first time in a date night. She's recently immigrated from Jamaica so was very skeptical. Once she tried the oxtails she was speechless. The food was very well done, and the service was very hospitable. We'll definitely be back.

The staff is super nice. And food is made quickly. I stopped by just to check it out and grabbed some sweet fried plantain then headed off to grab my daughter (toddler) from daycare. She loves the stuff and of course smelled it. Before we got to the light, she had demolished the food. I knew it would take me about 10 mins to get back. I called and spoke with the restaurant and asked for them to make another order for pickup. It was bagged and ready for me to pay when I pulled up. Today I plan to go in and have a full meal with my husband. Jerk chicken here we come.

We enjoy eating out. Last night we visited this delicious place which friends recommended to us. We had a beautiful evening there with fine food and a professional crew and a professional cook. We added this venue in our phone list and we will definitely return very soon. Highly recommended.

Great food! I had curry chicken with pumpkin rice and plantain, spice level 2 and that was plenty spicy for me. But I loved it!! Staff greeted and welcomed me with a smile, and was very happy to explain the menu, since it was my first time here. I also ordered jerk chicken to go and I will definitely be back for their buffet! Their prices are VERY reasonable!
