Bull & Wren

I was expecting the restaurant to be more show than quality. This was really good food. My parents who are extremely critical about eating out at restaurants left thoroughly impressed.

This is a great bar restaurant to visit while in Excelsior. Interesting menu, great food ! Good draft Beer selection. Try the Scotch eggs for a tasty appetizer! Don't forget the truffle french fries..

Surprisingly good. Mac& Cheese was excellent, burger was ok, wedge fries were very good. Wings were meaty. I had a salad that was excellent. Service was just so so. Food took a long time and the place wasn’t that busy. The waiter would disappear for long periods of time. Place may have not been staffed fully.

The atmosphere here is unmatched! From the beautifully detailed building, to the lighting, to the fun Irish playlist, this place does it right. You feel like you just stepped into Ireland! Everything I’ve tried off the menu looks good and tastes better. Staff was friendly, professionally and knowledgeable. You can tell Bull and Wren holds itself to high standards and it pays off.

We got a reservation at Bull & Wren last minute for Mother’s Day and were completely blown away with the experience we received. Easily one of the best brunch buffets I’ve ever had. Above and beyond in every respect from the oysters to the prime rib to the unrivaled dessert spread. Not to mention a personal gift basket for my mom! We had already loved this place as a way to teleport, if only temporarily, to Ireland with a Guinness in hand. But the whole experience really cemented it as a top restaurant for us and and you can officially count us as regulars going forward.
