Lago Tacos Excelsior

I simply liked their dishes. I always get good service here. The place is clean and the employees are always very nice. I highly recommend this place.

We went here once when they were fairly new and thought it was ok, but went again today and we really enjoyed it! We had the chips and dips which was a nice option for variety and super tasty, and some steak tacos with the corn cake, delicious! The service was as speedy as could be too, I can't wait to return and try more things!

The food is pretty good, giving 4 stars because the space feels crowded. Couldn’t fit another table in there if they tried! The restaurant is near the water, but no view of the lake. There is however a cozy view of the street and it’s perfect for people watching.

Seriously good food! We love the walleye tacos and the guacamole is really good. We have eaten in the restaurant but we usually just call in an order and then take it out on our boat. Highly recommend!

This place was on a whim and would like to try again one day if I’m ever in the area again. The sweet corn cakes were amazing. But I wasn’t extremely impressed with the empanadas or the burrito but that could have been just me not reading the menu correctly. Staff was very nice and helpful when not overly engaged in conversation with other staff. Would recommend as a try but not a must go to place.
