Excellent burger. Odd location since it's near a rail road and hidden behind industrial buildings. Will still recommend though.
Bun was nice. Burger was fine. I did not enjoy paying $18 for a -decent- burger (w/ no sides) after tip. Gold sauce was pretty bad. I think it was broken, but it wasn't just watery consistency -- the flavor was also off. Also -- why are ppl afraid to really get in there and season their burgers before cooking? I'm upset about it. But I do love the original Animales so that's the move from now on.
Shared a double today (only because we were also making a trip to the BBQ trailer) and it was amazing! Perfect sear, cheesy, bun was great, pickles and jalapeños were delicious and added the perfect amount of spice & acid. The gold sauce was a great addition-think a combo of carolina sauce and thousand island dressing. Definitely in my top 3 burgers I’ve had. Thanks for a delicious afternoon 🍔. Not the greatest pics cuz I started eating immediately.
Animales Burger Co truck is one of the best that I've been to in the Twin Cities. The burgers are good, but the pastrami "sandwich" is more like a pastrami burger with the thickest, juiciest slabs of pastrami I've ever had. Both come with loads of pickles, which isn't my thing, but you can remove them easy enough. If you go for a burger, add the gold sauce. It's delicious.
