Bar La Grassa

We came here with a large group of friends without reservations and they were still able to accommodate us. The gnocchi is absolutely spot on!! Service is great and the place is cozy. We'd definitely go back.

The food is absolutely delicious. My boss took me here when I came to work at the main office. There was a group of us and we ordered a bunch of appetizers and pastas. Everything was delicious with great flavor. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time at Bar La Grassa! I would highly recommend this place. The service was too notch, the food delicious, and the atmosphere engaging and cozy.

Our waitress was attentive and humorous and was very helpful with suggestions from the menu - but with so many good things it's hard not to rave about everything on offer. I would definitely go again to try more of their menu.

This is the best small plates restaurants I have been to in Chicago. The drink menu is solid, though more wine heavy. The dining options are very good, though the pasta is homemade and I would stick to that sub category on the menu. My favorite dish though was the scallops (not pictured). They were seared to perfection! The picture is off the eggplant parmesan which was really good too. There wasn't a dish I had that wasn't excellent. The dessert looked amazing too though I was too full to eat any. Atmosphere was great as well. 5/5 Stars!

We went here with some family that was visiting from out of town and everyone loved every dish we ordered! Our server was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and was able to answer any questions we had right on the spot. The gnocchi was the table favorite, but we ordered about 6 different dishes and shared everything, and it was all incredible! Nice atmosphere as well. I highly recommend making a reservation as far in advance as possible!
