    I've lived in the area for nearly 20 years and had never tried this place despite having driving by it countless times. So, we finally tried it. My better half got the catfish. She said it was under seasoned. I had sirloin which was grizzly and hard to chew. The baked potatoes were dry. The best part of the meal was the Texas toast. We didn't mind the old dive/diner fashion or window ordering. The prices were good. Unfortunately, it didn't wow us enough to want to return.

    For the money, this place is truly the Best Steak House.
    I paid $13.95 for a 12oz sirloin steak at lunchtime and it was phenomenal.
    The chicken & wild rice soup that came with the meal left much to be desired but the real star of the meal, the steak was excellent. Tender, juicy and prepared well. Is this Ruth Chris or Capital Grille? No. But like i said in the intro, it truly is the best steak house for people looking for a great steak under $20.

    24oz porterhouse steak? He LOVED every bite! Not a fancy place; a true diner from times past. The steak in this pic came with Texas toast, baked potato, and a small lettuce salad for about $23!
