I tried the buffalo chicken pizza, came out hot, and fresh. The lemonade was amazing as always and cannot go wrong with the classic 3-piece. Happy for the business and would refer CHX to everybody! Check it out on Hennepin & 22nd!

TL;DR - It was good. Sides/additions are bank robbery though.

I ordered an order of 6x tenders and a pizza. I was a bit disappointed that the pizza was ready about 10 minutes before the tenders were, but someone in charged was passionate about the chicken and it showed.

The chicken was a solid 9/10. Tender, juicy, delicious. The breading was a little flour-forward. Fries were excellent. Biscuit was decent, but seemed to be fried in butter or something, really heavy.

The issues: I ordered a pizza and some chicken from the same spot - please try to time these. I had to wait over 10 minutes after my pizza was ready for my chicken.

Second issue: 2 sauces are not enough for 6 pieces of chicken, especially if you're going to charge $1.50 for a little Solo sauce-sized cup of sauce. That's WAY too expensive for additional sauce.

You're competing against Canes, and you've got the advantage, but no shot should someone spend $1.50 for an extra cup of sauce.

So glad this gem is here! I ordered the “3 tender combo” which came with a vinegar based jalapeño coleslaw, fries, honey biscuit, special sauce, and drink. The food came out quick and was extremely fresh and hot.

I also love the option for either indoor or outdoor seating. I’ll definitely be back, with my family in tow, for some more CHX in the near future!

I've been looking for good chicken strips in the Twin Cities for awhile now. I went to CHX and found them. I've gone to most local restaurants and, to my partner's dismay, always ordered chicken tenders. CHX is the best around in the Twin Cities.

Service wise: Pretty darn good. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and was willing to answer my questions about the menu. The guy who handed me my food at the end of the counter asked about napkins, sauces, and silverware - so what else could you expect.

Haven't tried the pizza yet, but they're membership deal sure is enticing. All in all, go to CHX if you want some quality chicken tenders.

Excellent little casual spot for fast, good comfort food. Their tenders are the highlight (great breading and the chicken has always been good) but they have great sides too - tasty coleslaw and a delicious flaky biscuit. Good service and friendly owners; an all-around excellent option for both take-out and dine-in. Give them some love and get some chicken!
