I was introduced to this place via Tinder date years ago. Since then it’s been my top list of places for brunch. Food is excellent, sometimes you get lucky on days they have special pastries. Craft cocktails for brunch, yes please! I love that the All Irish Coffee requires assembly, they let you mix the cream into the good part. The Tim Press brings back pleasant childhood memories of playing Final Fantasy.

Great quirky restaurant in the NE Minneapolis Arts District. Fresh salads, delicious daily soups, and hand made food makes this a favorite spot. The chef has a vegan sister, so often has vegan options, or ask, they have been happy to accommodate me as a vegetarian. Beet salad is as beautiful as it is delicious.

The parking lot is tiny, so on street is a good option. The Minneapolis 2nd Police Precinct is one block north, and has ample on street parking.

Great variety of cocktails, sophisticated jello shots (unbelievable? Well believe it), great food. Their version of the cubano is spicy and delicious. Their Mac and cheese is creamy and decadent. Their Smoked Gouda and bell pepper soup is rich and delicious. If you like mussels, you can't go wrong with ordering them here. We haven't had anything here that we didn't like. It's a little place with a little parking lots so it's easiest to get there and get seated either slightly before or after a meal time rush.

We missed it when we first drove by but are so glad we stopped and waited in line. Got there a little before 11:00 on Sunday morning and the 4 of us had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The decor is great, the tap beer selection was better than expected, the menu options all looked delicious and the food quality on all of our orders warranted 5 Stars.

Although the service was very friendly, what held me back from a 5* rating was how slow the service was. It took almost an hour to get our food, some of which was consumed waiting to even place our orders after we were seated. It seemed that the wait staff was stretched way too thin (maybe some didn't show up for work today?). Regardless, if you have plenty of time to kill after Church on Sunday morning, you will love the menu selection and food quality here.

    The pictures:
    Truffle Fries - Tasty!
Root Vegetable Hash - great seasoning, highly recommended!
Ecuadorian Baked Eggs - good, but bland for my tastes.
Butternut Squash Bisque - creamy and delicious, definitely worth trying!
Wild Rice Pancake - texture was so light and fine and the accompanying fruit and syrup made it a great shared dessert after our brunch!

This is my favorite date restaurant. Great for quiet conversation and/or late night drinks. The bartenders have great personality and give a great show while mixing. The food is great and the specials can be very unique and surprisingly delicious. I always order cheese curds - the beet dip is one of a kind!
