Hodan Cuisine

I have been to Hodan’s Cuisine twice now and both times have been great. Today was the second time. I arrived around noon. I ordered a sport that came with rice, spicy chicken suqaar, as well as spicy goat meat. Both the chicken and goat were seasoned to perfection. The brother that usually takes your order is very personable & even gave me a complimentary free drink with my meal. The mango juice from Ilham is delicious. If you enjoy mango juice try it out I’m sure you’ll enjoy. Deffo fully recommend this place. One of the best Somali spots in Minneapolis. Go check it out.

Great food. We ordered the Sport combo (came with salad, rice, ari (goat meat), and chicken suqaar), which will feed about 2-3 people. Nice service and area to sit and eat. Would recommend to others!

The chicken suqaar rice meal and samosas were delicious! Very good flavor and not spicy unless you added the extra sauce on the side (I ate it without the sauce). The rice meal came with a drink and a banana.

Food was very good, but not amazing. Service was fine, but it does have a family-run restaurant vibe. Pricing is a little higher than I'd prefer for the value, but it's worth taking a visit if you're interested in Somali style of food.

Delicious Somali food. I had the pasta and rice lunches with goat meat and chicken options. I am so happy to see a Somali restaurant in this area. I don’t have to travel far to get a somali dish like I usually would to south mpls. Great and quick when placing my order and with picking up the takeout. I will be back here! I highly recommend this restaurant!
