The Red Sea Ethiopian Restaurant

Was looking for a decent East African food. Found this one and wasn’t disappointed at all. Great food and amazing customer services. This would be my spot from now on.

If you're looking for good Ethiopian food this is definitely a great spot. It's a lively place open late and has a bar attached to it next door serving Ethiopian beer. It was recommended by my friend who says the food tastes the closest to Ethiopian out of the restaurants in Minnesota. The restaurant was also able to accommodate a group of 20. One down side is that it can be hard to find parking.

What an awesome experience! The service was very attentive. They were able to accommodate a group of 10 people in a very small cozy restaurant. The Ethiopian Food was excellent! Many vegetarian options! Love the menu which give us many opportunities to taste the best of the Ethiopian cuisine and more! Many spicy food options and few none spicy! Overall great experience! Hot Tea was offered and served after dinner. I got to try Honey Wine which was certainly different and unique.

I had no idea what to expect since I am not very familiar with this type of food, let alone what we should order. The waitress was so nice! I asked for some advice on what she thought was the best, and she recommended a platter with a little of everything on it-a perfect for two to share! Literally everything on that plate was out of this world. The flavor so rich and savory. I just wonder how I have lived here for three years and had never tried this place! Definitely check it out, you won't regret it.

Great food! Great service! There is street parking and a parking lot in the back. If you park in the back and bring your receipt, they will deduct the price of parking from your bill. I had the lamb tips. Delicious!! One of my friends had beef tips. One had the chicken and rice. I will definitely be back.
