Great food and decent service. I had the ravioli (which was very tasty) the last time I ate there with family. The waiter was very courteous and filled our waters regularly. He definetely tried to upsell us desserts, apps, and drinks I didn't want multiple times, but that is somewhat expected at a restaurant. Also, he took a while to get us our check, but maybe he was just trying not to interrupt our conversation as we were just talking for a while. I love the gingerbread house they make every year for Christmas! The scallops and wild rice soup are also excellent. A family friend of mine always goes there for the walleye.
I don’t see what all the hype is about. The food is basic and there is a mass of wealthy people there to show off their boats. I mean, I guess if you want to go to a place where people are instantly and constantly judging you based on your appearance, your boat, your body and your spouse or significant other while eating overpriced mediocre bar food than this place is perfect! In my opinion it is not the place for average people. There are way better options where people are there just to have a good time regardless of your status in the community. My experience wasn’t bad. Just wasn’t inviting or as friendly as I would have liked.
Absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The food was delicious. We had the walleye and brisket.... some of the best brisket I've had since living in Texas. We came for our anniversary dinner and would definitely recommend it.
A staple of a day on Minnetonka. You've already been. If you haven't, go. Quite the experience. Service varies on how busy it is, but it's never been bad. Menu is the only complaint, has a lot of variety, but nothing strikes as a special or unique item. Picky, I know, but I'd love to see them develop a signature item or two.
As you see on the pictures that are posted , of the place itself is very well maintained, the food presentation for the customers is professionally displayed for the costumes. Dying in dying out out. Any where you decide, it's a great experience. You can boat there, park your boat at the dock. And go have a cocktail and a bite to eat. As you can drive as well.
Enjoy, Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge. They get a five star rating...
