It seems that the goal of this restaurant is to promote healthier eating so I was surprised to see so many fried items on the menu. Nutrition information is nowhere to be found. Are they hiding something? They position themselves a bit like fast food, but it's not fast. Prices aren't comparable to fast food and so therefore, it's more like your typical sit down except the wait is longer and prices too high. They seem confused on who or what they are trying to be. Food is good but I have only had the 'shroom burger. I don't eat fries and I can't imagine Steele does either.

I’ve eaten here a few times and the food has always been great! The buns are fantastic, the “chicken” is crispy, the shakes are creamy, and the staff is so kind. The location and vibe were also top-notch. I’ve been a vegetarian for 15 years and I was very pleased with everything. A great place for a casual bite for vegans and non-vegans alike. A new favorite!

I would love if some fresher options were eventually added to the menu as well. Salads, fruits cups, black bean burgers, etc.

Wow. I have tried a lot of vegan food and figured I would enjoy this. Instead, I was shocked at the quality and inventiveness in the food. Incredible flavor and textures.

...and don’t get me started on the service. All the staff looked happy to be there and that got reflected in the experience! Peder took my order and was knowledgeable about the menu offerings. All around awesome experience from start to finish!

I went here with my family to celebrate “Step- Mother’s Day”. I am a vegetarian but my husband and all four daughters are meat eaters. Everyone loved everything they ate! The mushroom burger was outstanding! My kids loved the chicken nuggets! My oldest stepdaughter loved the french fries! Even the flavored sparkling water was unexpectedly wonderful and I don’t even like sparkling water. I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to go there again!

Hi, my husband and I ate lunch at Stalk & Spade for the first time today. We tried the southwest chicken sandwich, the mushroom burger, chicken nuggets, and sweet potato fries. We have been eating meatless meats for over five years and have tried many brands of plant based meats and products. We really enjoyed the meatless beef patty, it was very good with cheese and mushrooms. We did not care much for the flavor of the meatless chicken, the chicken nuggets were hot, crisp and full of oil. There was not much flavor in the meatless chicken itself and too much oil taste. The fries were not hot or close to warm and too much salt. I asked about which oil they use to hold everything together and I was told canola oil. I can not find ingredients or nutrition information anywhere, so I am disappointed I did not know what I was eating or if the food is even close to being healthy. Hopefully they are not using coconut oil to hold everything together... I believe it is trying too hard to knock off McDonald's that it forgot about the overall taste, quality, and if the product itself is even healthy to eat. Nutrition facts would be great if I could find them anywhere..and maybe ask customers if they would like the sauce on the side of the burger as it was too much.

Wow! Six stars for the burgers! I’ve had their tasty “fiesta burger” and their “southwest chicken burger”. Both were very fresh and so good. The freshly sliced avocado and ripe tomato makes the fiesta burger an instant favorite. If I was blindfolded, the only way I would know it wasn’t a beef burger is by the texture. But I wasn’t looking for a beef burger at a vegetarian restaurant anyway! The chicken burger on the other hand even had the texture down. It was amazing. Both are generous when it comes to portions.

The non-dairy chocolate shake will be an instant hit for many - especially those who prefer or need the non dairy option.

The sweet potato fries are excellent, though the portion could be bigger for the price point.

My only disappointment was their regular fries. They aren’t bad. But they aren’t anything to write home about either. Very average.

I will certainly be back often to grab a fiesta burger or a chicken sandwich.

I highly recommend this wonderful new venue in the western burbs of Minneapolis!
