Wayzata Bar & Grill

The Muni....I've been coming to this bar/restaurant/liquor store for 25 years located in the heart of Wayzata, MN. As a destination to meet my friends, make new friends, have lunch, or prime Rib for dinner, and pick up your favorite alcoholic beverages on my way home, they have never disappointed in service, excellent food, and relaxed feeling that the bartenders, waitresses, kitchen & liquor store staff were happy to make your visit a pleasant one. I like that they service food later than many pubs, (10:30 pm during the week, later on weekends), have a well-rounded menu to please all tastes, two happy hours for a longer time and the food is priced in a range for all income classes, and best of all, it always delicious!
Thursday night 12/12/19 at 10pm I ordered from the happy hour food menu for $5.99, two Carnita Tacos with the best homemade, great flavored, crunchy tortilla chips and homemade salsa that I've ever had and still took one of them home for lunch the next day, (and their Chicken Wild Rice soup is another favorite of mine as well)! If you haven't been here, it won't disappoint, and they may have live entertainment on the weekends as well. It's a great stop, so go and check it out for yourself!!

This was our first visit here and I liked the vibe for a casual dining immediately. We sat by the bar but it was not too noisy. There are tables in the back for more quiet dining if needed. We shared a reuben sandwich, fries and one cup of soup and a nice side salad. The food was served quickly, it was hot and very tasty. The service was excellent. Smooth ordering, and attentive to water, drinks and removing dishes when were were finished. We would definitely return and I look forward to the summer and eating outside on the patio and having a view of the lake.

Service was fantastic, staff was friendly, rest rooms were clean, parking was Super Convenience. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the food but that's the only thing that I did not like. Probably a great spot to watch a game and grab some drinks
