A great experience for our Scout troop's trip to the BWCA. Lori and Carl were fantastic to work with, especially since our trip was COVID-delayed by a year. Meals at the outfitters were satisfying, especially the pancake and bacon breakfasts. The price for our package was extremely reasonable. Bunkhouse accommodations were simple but well-suited to a Scout group. The outfitting package worked well for our 5-night trip. Food supplied with our package was more than ample. They were friendly and helpful throughout our trip-planning phase, especially regarding route planning. Pickup from our exit point was exactly as scheduled. Wonderful, family owned business. The owners take such good care of their guests. Plenty of amenities and very helpful with planning your canoe trip. This is our 3rd time with this particular outfitter and it has always been a great experience!

This outfitter is great. We rented gear, bunked the night before our trip, and booked a tow. Everything went very smoothly, and they were super flexible. We shopped around, and their prices were the best. The bunk option we booked was very basic but inexpensive. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.

The best outfitter! An excellent starting point for Boundary Waters with experienced friendly staff. Vast amount of camping/canoe trip gear. They'll transport you with canoe and gear over land/water. Bunk house style rooms are cleaner and nicer than some hotels. Free high speed internet. Scenic and perfectly situated for watching sunset/sunrise and auroras over the lake. 25 minutes from Ely. Accessible lakes, campgrounds can be driven to, including a trout lake 10 minutes away.
