“A great experience for our Scout troop's trip to the BWCA. Lori and Carl were fantastic to work with, especially since our trip was COVID-delayed by a year. Meals at the outfitters were satisfying, especially the pancake and bacon breakfasts. The price for our package was extremely reasonable. Bunkhouse accommodations were simple but well-suited to a Scout group. The outfitting package worked well for our 5-night trip. Food supplied with our package was more than ample. They were friendly and helpful throughout our trip-planning phase, especially regarding route planning. Pickup from our exit point was exactly as scheduled. “Three of us went on a Sunday and sat in the restaurant area (not the bar). Our server was nice, maybe new or inexperienced, but we weren’t in a hurry. They had an End of Summer menu which was very limited, burger or walleye, so we all got burgers. Really good burger, charbroiled and cooked medium the way we like it (even though we weren’t asked) but the only issue was the bun. Too thin so it fell apart almost immediately. Came with kettle chips. Overall good meal. Drinks were good.”
