El Carambas

The food is really authentic, and the owner has a really fun thing he does for birthdays. My mom took me and my fiance there for his birthday, and they all came out yelling and playing instruments to sing happy birthday the owner leading them crashing symbols and chanting. A really charming place

I ordered 7 lengua tacos and a beer for $31. It seemed a little high for the amount food I got. The tacos were okay, but not as good as others around town. The owner stopped at the table and said hello, which was nice. The girls at the front counter did not give the same welcoming experience. One little annoyance, when I asked how much tacos were, they said $1.99. Which after I ordered and went to pay, that was only for ground beef and chicken, but none of the traditional taco meats. My suggestion to the establishment would be say they start at 1.99 for the Lower price ones and are more for traditional tacos. Setting expectations for customers is very important. They have many other good things on the menu that would be worth trying. It was an okay experience, but could have been better

I grew up in Mexico, and this place has the closest to authentic Mexican food in town. The staff and the owner are super friendly. And, if you have a birthday in the family, they do an AMAZING birthday song!!! The atmosphere here is joyful and the food is delicious. I love this place!

Delicious food and kid friendly fun atmosphere. Helpful staff greeted us like we were old friends and were so helpful getting a highchair and such. Big portions and the best tamales I've ever had!
