Taco JED

I've been there twice now and they don't disappoint! Awesome tacos with a variety of styles to choose from, including vegan. They have a family friendly atmosphere in the front, there is a sports bar in the back, and there is even an outside patio area that can be heated on cold winter nights! If you like tacos then there is something for everyone.

Taco JED is such a welcome addition to Rochester’s food scene. And finally a great neighborhood place in SE! Great vegetarian options and the nachos are awesome: the queso cheese is just a bit spicy and delicious. Great staff, super friendly, and the owner is part of the operation. He runs food, checks in with guests, and chats up the families making you feel welcome. It’s quickly become one of the go to places for our family.

This was my first visit but so far it was both delicious and enjoyable. The customer service was pleasant and helpful and there was a good variety of food and drinks. Then, the tacos. I got three: pork, fajita, and shrimp. Each was light and delicious. I picked up a couple sauces from the counter before the tacos came out and I never used them on the tacos. There was no need as the tacos were saucy, moist, and delicious. I felt bad about taking the sauces so I still tried them with a spoon and they were very good. I believe I had the mild green sauce and the medium red salsa. The inside area and outside patio as well as the bar top were all welcoming. It was perfect for sitting outside today but inside is just as nice. They have two happy hours which catches those morning and afternoon folks. Makes me want to try the breakfast taco menu. Two thumbs up!
