    So sad this place closed. Literally the best tamales in the Twin Cities. Sincerely hope management can find the way forward to reopen.

    Everything we got was spectacular. We got a pork tamale and a tamale con rajas and they were the best tamales we’ve had in the US, which says a lot since my wife is from Southern Texas and we’ve been to the likes of California and other southern border states. Aguas frescas and Atole were also spectacular and were icing on the cake. Such a pleasant surprise.

    I’m from California and these are the best dang tamales I’ve had since moving to the Midwest a few years ago. They are absolutely bursting with amazing flavors. The masa is so moist and seasoned wonderfully. I will most definitely be back!

    I have been looking for the best tamale on the east-side and found that today here at Beniz. My tamale con pollo was piping hot and had the perfect amount of spice. I will be back.
