Tongue in Cheek

I love this place. I appreciate the lack of pretentiousness . The food is hard to describe because it’s complex. But it’s clearly made with love and talent. Payne Ave feels like New York to me -a little of everything.
I had the blueberry appetizer. And it was literally one blueberry on a spoon that had a secret sauce that I would gladly pay $3 for again & again. Plumpest blueberry I’ve ever had.
This was followed by the pork buns . This was some sort of Asian tacoish barbecue dish that I thought was remarkable . A glass of a considered red wine & I was left delighted..Eat here ! I’ll be back & might see you there.

This is not my first time here nor will it be my last! Every single dish I've had here has been delicious. Other than what's below, I've also tried the butternut squash salad and some of their other noodles dishes. All are very flavorful and a party for your taste buds. The menu changes often so don't wait too long to check this spot out!

Walking into the restaurant, the front area is for people who bar area with a few tables and dining area is in a farther back section. Lots of cool paintings and frames hung up on the walls. I really like this restaurant. The food options are small portions and really upscale. The chef always has rotation options and it is always a surprise. The cocktails are unique and the service is great. I don't normally eat at places like this so i asked the waiter tons of questions about what i was eating to which he answered with a smile. I usually walk out with a really expensive tab but it is nice to get fancy sometimes.

Tried a bunch of things and everything was excellent. Service was good. Waitress was helpful. Menu is fairly wide ranging. Atmosphere is what you'd expect from a typical foodie/hipster restaurant.
