Ghebre's Restaurant

I dine in this lovely spot quite often! This is my favorite place to dine. I visit this spot at least once a month. The food is fantastic, the crew is welcoming and the rates are affordable. I like meeting in this place over a tasty dinner.

Tried this place on a whim and was blown away with just how delicious the food was. The beef was cooked to perfection, not a single kernel of rice was overcooked, even the cabbage was scrumptious. The portions are large to boot. Friendly service and a warm, humble environment topped off the wonderful experience.

Delicious! Stopped in for the buffet before a soccer game... such amazing food! Seriously recommend it.

Ethiopian food will always have a special place in my heart. Floral spices like cardamom mixing with savory and spicy profiles creates such a unique complexity that I am seldom able to find in other cuisines. Ghebre's is everything you desire from Ethiopian fare, done very well. However that's all they do. I greatly appreciate it but their selection is limited and they operate very much within their culture. Tea and coffee is served at dessert only which i can appreciate, but unfortunately their baklava goes quickly. Multiple occasions here i still haven't been able to order it. There are other Ethiopian places locally that offer the same, but this is still one of the best. Their dining area is open and mostly empty, consisting of 4-top tables only. On the topic of tea and coffee being served traditionally, this is the only place I've been to with appropriate serving vessels and accoutrements being brought out simultaneously. Pic related.
