Just/Us is great. I've had a number of items off the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Everything is great, affordable: its in the $15 a person range without alcohol. They automatically include the tip, so you just pay the bill. They pay all their staff a fair wage, and are helping to lead the movement to improve conditions for restaurant staff. Easily my one my top restaurants in Lowertown.

Local spot, great food, amazing people, lovely feel. I was sad when they had to move but i love this new location. Get yourself a burger, you'll be glad you did!

Great food and great ambiance. I enjoyed the Mexican street corn Mac and cheese which was honestly phenomenal and some of the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. Also had some of their fries and homemade ketchup was was extremely good. Will definitely be back again.

Another superb dining experience at Just/Us. The chefs have a gift for bringing their imagination to bear on familiar fare in a way that always stretches my taste buds in the most delightful ways. Today's grilled cheese was dairy-divine: crunchy sourdough cradling gooey brie, spinach leaves, and pear slices. Prices are fair: they balance the quality of the food and the labor and my hard-earned money.
The ambiance is open and relaxed. I've been here on a bustling evening and (as today) a lazy Saturday afternoon. Thanks to the high ceiling and uncrowded floor space it feels intimate either way.
I appreciate the "no tip"/just wage philosophy that treats everyone on staff as a valued member of the team (the 18% service charge is split across all staff to ensure everyone is making a livable wage).
The waitstaff are friendly and attentive in a soulful way: as though they really share the restaurant's vision of "delicious food made for the common good." Wendell Berry wrote that "conviviality is healing," and it's true. You won't find it listed on the menu at Just/Us, but thanks to the vision of the chef/owners, the casual cheer of the waitstaff, and the savory taste of the food ... conviviality is on every plate served. I'll be back ... again!

I am so happy this restaurant reopened. Their food is still amazing and the service is great. We had the hummus which was wonderful and creamy and went well with the bread. The burgers were cooked perfectly. I had the Sumac burger and all of the flavors worked together very well. Then for dessert we gad bacon jam bread pudding with maple ice cream, and even though it sounds odd it tasted so good! The servers and owner were friendly and wanted to make sure we had a good experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go back!
